Ryan Duffy's announces the Dine + Donate Dare

Halifax, NS – Ryan Duffy's is answering the call to help Haiti with a bold challenge: The Dine + Donate Dare. On Monday, February 8th, Ryan Duffy's will be donating 20% of all sales generated throughout the day to OXFAM Canada's Haitian relief efforts. But that's not all, they're daring all other restaurants in Halifax to do the same. Ryan Duffy's is open from 6:30am until 11pm, making the Dine + Donate Dare an almost seventeen hour long, culinary fundraising event.

General Manager Heather Coffen is thrilled to be supporting such a worthwhile cause. “When we heard about the Halifax for Haiti Benefit Concert it inspired us to help. We believe everyone has been moved by the devastation in Haiti and this is a chance for the restaurant community to do our part. We can come together as one Halifax voice and say we care.” Heather added: “We know that all money donated helps but at the end of the day we hope to have raised a significant amount. Daring all other Halifax restaurants to join in this effort is a great way to do this. So come on Halifax, compete in the Dine + Donate Dare. Ryan Duffy's chose to donate specifically to OXFAM Canada's Haitian relief efforts because of the wonderful work they do and every penny donated to OXFAM goes immediately to the most critical needs. OXFAM has a long experience in Haiti and aiding in earthquake relief. Currently their emergency team in Port-au-Prince is responding with public health, water and sanitation services.
