WHAT IS RANS?
The Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia (RANS), is a non-profit association that seeks to promote the food and beverage sector and impact the operating environment of the industry in a positive way. Through government advocacy, marketing and promotion, education and outreach, RANS has successfully represented the food and beverage sector since 1947.
A permanent office and staff is maintained to support the association, which represents industry suppliers and operators, and consists of approximately 1,550 operations with over 33,000 employees in the province of Nova Scotia.
MISSION STATEMENT
To positively affect change by identifying and addressing relevant issues to improve the operating environment of the restaurant and food service industry in Nova Scotia.
OUR VISION
To be recognized as “the” association of choice for the restaurant and food service industry in Nova Scotia.
