Ingredients 4 large garlic cloves, minced 3 teaspoons grated lemon peel 2 teaspoons dried rosemary leaves, crushed 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed ½ teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper |
Preparation In a small bowl combine all ingredients. Rub immediately on fish, seafood, chicken, or pork; let food rest 15 minutes before grilling. Makes 8 servings. |

Ingredients ½ cup chopped celery 3 tablespoons chopped onion 2 tablespoons butter 1 cup Ketchup ¼ cup lemon juice 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons vinegar 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon dry mustard Dash of pepper |
Preparation In a skillet cook celery and onion in butter until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Serve warm with grilled beef, pork, or chicken, or brush on meats during last 10 minutes of grilling time. Makes 8 to 10 servings. |
