Scotch Eggs from Scratch, "aka" The Guv`nors Lunch

This hearty favourite is exclusive to the Guv'nor culinary staff.  There are quite a number of steps required in the preparation, hence, much patience is required for a successful Guv'nors Lunch . . . good luck!

Mix the following ingredients in a bowl:  ground beef, sausages, rolled oats, 2 eggs and
a selection of spices.  Mix all together and weigh into 6 equal portions.

Prepare 6 eggs, boil until centre is hard.  Peel, then wrap completely with the prepared mixture.

In a separate bowl combine flour, eggs, milk and bread crumbs for the coating.  Bread the meat mixture and lightly brown in the deep fryer.  Then move to the top rack of the oven and continue to bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.
