Ingredients:
1 cup yellow corn meal
½ cup flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup butter milk
1½ table spoon baking powder
1/3 cup melted butter
½ teaspoon salt
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven at 375 degrees
2. Place oil in baking pan or muffin tin and place in oven.
3. Place ingredients in large mixing bowl.
4. Mix ingredients – but don’t beat.
5. Pour ingredients into preheated pan or muffin tin.
6. Place in oven for 20 – 30 minutes or when golden brown.
7. Cornbread is done when inserted toothpick comes out clean. Serves 6.
