We are striving to offer local and organic products. Our vision is to provide a healthy , yet tasty, alternative to dining in Halifax. We do not have any deep fryers or microwaves. Our menu is based around the slow food, macrobiotic influences.Our menu covers a full spectrum of culinary offerings from fresh haddock dishes, free-range chicken and beef, to vegan plates. We strive to provide a healthy dining experience while supporting local farms and suppliers. We have a warm atmosphere, decorated with beautiful artwork from many local artists. We have been awarded with Best New Business of the Year, at the Halifax Business Awards. As well as winning Best New Restaurant, 2005, with The Coast’s Reader’s Poll. Along with this year’s win of Best Vegetarian Friendly Restaurant.

This year we have a new and exciting project. We are producing a beautiful, yet informative, Environmental Awareness Calendar (2007). We are including recipes, as well as lots of really interesting info. We have many local companies being focused on inside the pages.
