Burnside Brewing was built on a simple idea: make beer people actually want to drink. No gimmicks, no shortcuts - just approachable, consistent, high-quality brews. Choosing Dartmouth’s Burnside Industrial Park as our home wasn’t a mistake; it was a statement. A working-class corner of Nova Scotia, built on hustle and heart, just like us.

Founded in 2015 with our first taproom in Burnside, we have grown into a proudly Nova Scotian brand. In 2021, we opened Oak Manor in Antigonish, creating a welcoming space for both students and locals. By 2023, we introduced The Common at The Hub Shopping Centre in Truro. Atlantic Canada’s only licensed food hall - furthering our mission to bring people together through exceptional beer and genuine hospitality.

Ambitious? Yes. Pretentious? Never.
